With the All-Star Game behind us, it’s time to get back to the race. I always love that before the mid-summer’s classic, it feels like teams are just churning it out, winning games as much as possible for that future result.
After the All-Star Game however, the season feels more like a downhill run. There’s a long way to go, but we’re in the “back 9” now.
Good surprises: Diamondbacks, Brewers, Rockies, Twins, Yankees.
Bad surprises: Giants, Cubs at .500, Orioles.
What will the second half hold? Comment below to offer what you think will happen. Will Judge hit 50? Will the Brewers hold off the underachieving, World Champion Cubs? Who’s the dark horse for the World Series (I’m going with Arizona). Will the Nationals finally get over the hump?
Predictions are one of the self-evident rights of being a baseball fan. So let’s hear yours!
